Maple Syrup (with audio)

DISCLAIMER: This is a sensual poem that contains some sexual content.

(Fantasy Friday Poem #3)

Maple Syrup

Tap, tap, tap.

Have you tapped any lately?

Tap, tap, tap.

The sap of her seduction

slowly

slides

down

in

sticky

succession.

The sweetest

drip

of

anticipation

slips down

her trunk

ready for action.

Tap, tap, tap.

Have you brought your hammer?

She’s in need

of a drill

bit

the size

of your finger.

The full-size

version

will be needed later

after everything is wet.

Tap, tap, tap.

The trap has been set.

Use the heat

of your breath

to help

keep

everything

from cooling off

too quickly.

Tap, tap, tap.

Would you like a taste before you begin?

Take your tongue

and run

it through

her sugary

nectar

just before

her bark

begins

to

swell.

Dig a little well

with your mouth

by lapping

up

every last drop

as it oozes

out of her.

Stop

when her trickle

becomes a stream

and

dictates

she’s ready

to be tapped properly.

Tap, tap, tap.

Will you help extract her syrup?

Prepare the full-size version

–with the upcurve–

by pushing it barely into her.

Tapping slowly

–at first—

like a warning to her

for what’s coming next.

Once you’re in position,

let the pounding begin.

Tap, tap, tap.

Will you tap her dry?

Please leave a little,

in case later you’re still

hungry.

Tap, tap, tap.

Will you come back for more next year?

She loves to share

her treats

year after year.

Come back again

during the spring thaw

when she’s

ready for your withdrawal

of

every

last

sip

of

her.

Tap, tap, tap.

    1. Thank you Huguetta! This was a fun one to write. Sometimes I feel a little silly recording them, but then I do it and think, why not? Sensuality is so important and I hope that people enjoy my poems for that. Thank you for reading/listening.
