Muse Poet Muse (with audio)

What muses you, my friend?
Love does
for me.
Love of all things…
even the ones I can’t speak of.
It is always love
and everything thereof
is because of love
or lack
thereof.
Tell me.
What muses you, my friend?

  1. My friend, it muses me so, to watch the world come and go. To watch as people laugh, forgetting my feelings, running from my past and my feelings that will soon come to pass.

    Wonderful as always xxx

  2. An interesting question, can a muse also seek a muse. When two muses meet is it all about love or just the joy of exploring in words? Do muses write solely for love and do we care as long as there is love. I like that you explore in these small pieces and keep up the recordings πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    1. Hmmm…to answer your question, I think it is different for everyone. I have met some inspiring people that I would consider muses…but typically we burn each other out. I find that what drives someone in their life is also what drives them as a writer. That, in essence, is their greatest muse…is it not? Thank you for your comment. I love thinking about these kinds of things. πŸ™‚

  3. I tend to agree with that point about burning each other out. How we live our lives can drive our writing. That would certainly be a good explanation for my Celtic writings being driven by living on Ynys Mon for two years. Best wishes for your future endeavours, I do enjoy your work. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
