Insatiable for Nothing and Silence (with audio)

Insatiable for Nothing

She was

insatiable

Hungry

Always

longing

Ravenous

Always

wanting more

Starving

Always

yearning

Thirsty

Always

craving more

And yet

He gave her

little bits

of

nothing

But she always

asked

for

more.

Silence

Your silence

is

painful.

Each second

of

quiet

like a

pin prick

sticking

me

in places

I didn’t know

could

hurt.

Give me words,

my darling.

I ache for them all.

Your silence

is

torture.

Each moment

of

quiet

like

falling

down

without

any

ground

to

fall on.

  1. The second one is very much an opening of emotion when silence is used as a barb or spear in a relationship, very poignant. The first is a nice rendering of that feeling of being in a relationship where there is a desire for more that is never met. Is the desire a greed to keep taking, or a relationship unfulfilled for other reasons. Great words for thought 🙂 Keep writing 🙂

Some people don’t know how to give properly I guess 👍👍
Loved how you described the very deep pain and suffer from the unspoken words…and it certainly hurts much more than the cruelest words 👌👌
