Try To Remember

Try to Remember

Remember.

Remember his

breath

rise and fall

as you clung

to his naked body

wrapped up

in crumpled sheets.

Remember.

Remember his

kiss

as if

you could

inhale him in

for oblivion.

Remember.

Remember because

he has

forgotten.

Everything.

Again.

  1. Beautifully penned and well spoken, lovely emphasis on the right words and timed pauses. Sadly this happens. I guess that is a point I was trying to make with Pure Woman, love is so much more, and if you find the fire, the fiery furnace, then you still have to stoke it ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
